Current Creative Interests
My work currently intersects thematically between memory and time, inheritance, generational trauma, relational identity, and transitional spaces. I frequently write and create art involving family and home in all its orientations, and am interested in how these themes adhere to and defy themselves. My creative process involves image:text creations that implement photography, paper ephemera, paint, and handwriting into mixed medium pieces. I also work with film, music, and other visual art and its intersections with poetics, as well as traditional poetry writing.
